just because

first of all, i now know for SURE that i cannot live far from my mom. she was in california for 7 days and i missed her...A LOT. like...A LOT. i didnt realize how much i think about her during the day! i wanted to call, text or go see her constantly. yes, i'm 34. so?! it's probably been 3 weeks since i slept through the night without waking up. maybe a month. that is annoying. i am ready for a solid night of rest. i can't even blame gabe. it's just me! i wake up. i can kinda blame jay. he's been a NUT lately - snoring, stealing my covers & pillow, pushing me almost off the bed. ol punk. i love him though. i dont mean to talk ugly about gabe. but he's been somewhat WHACK lately. he's teething, and he doesnt appreciate it. i know it hurts but dang - he's opinionated. we'll leave that at that :) he is getting bigger and much more talkative. sometimes i know what he is saying. other times i wish i knew b/c he is passionate about whatever is o...

oh norman. my dad and one of his friends just left my house. they are trying to fix Gs bathtub. it's clogged. probably with a toy... my dad. what a man. i figured i'd blog about life with norman for fathers day. i'll just write. some will be funny, sweet, some will be making fun (he's used to it...) when he's helping with repairs and such - he basically just stands around and states the obvious while his friends do all the work. it's hilarious. that being said - he does spend most of his retired life helping people. i love that about him. we ALL call him with every need. no matter if its personal, work related, for a friend, etc. norman will help or know who can! he is the most servant hearted person i know, along with my mom. he doesnt really say dumb things but there's 2 i can remember and they never fail to make me laugh... - we were eating at the restaurant in Mexico at disney world. it looks like it's outdoors b/c it kinda has a sky ...

so my stupid cell phone keeps messing up. good times. spent my morning working on that. ugh. i put our new couch together by myself yesterday. sho nuff did. it was just adding the top reclining pieces but i still did it. this girl is pimp. gabe said yummy monday. yayyyy!  he also keeps attempting to say i love you. (melts my heart) and he wants so badly to sing the ABCs. he thinks he is. kid has gigs. every night (almost) we hear him playing his guitar. sometimes sleeping and waking up just to play...we should put a tip jar by his bed and throw money in it. i made a tip jar for jays band with a sign that says "feelin' tipsy"  we went to the beach last week. it was fun!! we had some SUPER fun friends join us. they played with gabe and kept him one night so we could have date night.  let me tell you, however, what wasn't so fun.
