since i have been discouraged for the past couple days, i thought i'd blog about TA Fall Retreat things that make me happy.
God's attention to detail and faithfulness. overwhelms me...never ceases to amaze me.
riding up to the retreat with precious Clara McBride. 2.5 hours of sweet conversation and the smell of fresh baked brownies. doesn't get any better!
watching 163 students sign a contract to live lives of integrity.
watching 36 college students (that sign the same contract) love on students.
laughing with and at: aaron wall, sam webb, logan wilson, and DB woolbright. these guys make my life better.
listening to gabe pagan share his life story and seeing the impact he's making immediately!
camp lees copy machine.
debbie bergers faithfulness to bring coffee every morning.
jonathan moore's rockin' coffee making skills. seriously he could put coffee shops out of business. YUM.
the entire Hawk family.
ms Pat. she has the best smile on the planet.
louise davidson...make that ALL the davidsons! - what a servants heart.
st mark. most kind, generous church in town, hands down!
the fact that packing out 3 cars with snacks just isn't enough space for the obnoxious amounts of food we take to the retreat....JUST for snacking.
craig fitts. what a tremendous blessing he is to TAs. we love CRAIG!!!!!!!!
worshiping with 215 people and hearing Will Hawk speak.
watching kids unsnap the camp seats of the people next to them. it's so wrong but i cant help but laugh.
hearing bursts of clapping and cheering as another ocho scales a wall.
random funny story -- monday morning i sat down in mrs cindys chair and felt something cold & wet on my leg. it was an aerosol can of hairspray in the pocket of a girls book bag...covering my leg in hairspray. awesome and hilarious.
the "wiggle" part of my favorite square dancing song.
skipping my monday morning run and listening to the thunderstorm outside instead. so relaxing.
i just love the pureness (is that a word?!) of jonathan and lisa moore. they genuinely love the Lord and it is evident in their lives. i love it.
i loved watching gabe play with the hawk boys and knowing he was able to get to know jazz & gabi.
being able to look out and see jay in the room. he is my covering. he makes me feel safe and supported.
chas & tabitha. what an awesome security couple! love, love, love having them around.
serving alongside the hardest working staff! what a great group God has joined together to make TAs, Inc. i am so very thankful for everyone He's brought into this ministry. I've always loved our staff but there is just something sweet about the staff we have right now. I think putting this group together was His way of encouraging us and reminding us of HIS faithfulness during the past couple years of transition.
I am blown away by Him. i love knowing that i always will be.
